Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers - Learning to Fly

Tom Petty died just around the time I posted my last/first/other post, so I kind of feel I have to put this here. I can't really say much about Tom Petty, other than I have always felt that as an artist he was deserving of more of my time than I gave him. He seems to be a pretty straight up guy, too. His music will live on, which is all one can ask for, really, I suppose. He died at the same time as a madman shot and killed 59 people in Las Vegas, injuring over 500 in the process. These numbers are getting dangerously surreal, where a normal, sane person simply can't comprehend the scale. Nearly 600 casualties, all caused by one man (and I'm pretty sure the fact that it was a man is significant)! Slint- Breadcrumb Trail

Hello, good evening and welcome! I have decided to give this blogging thing one last shot, and I think I have hit on the main drawback to endeavours in the past. In this blog,  I will write, or say, whatever I want about anything I want. No more filters, no more specialist subjects, which means I don't have to decide if something belongs in this blog or not. That should make it much easier for me to add to this. As with all incredibly clever ideas, I'll probably drop it on the second day because I'm too busy replacing lightbulbs in the tortoise's terrarium or something! Anyway, the best of intentions are present, so that has to count for something. I will also try not to make these posts too long. This will help me to post regularly, and it will definitely make it more digestible to anybody who bothers their hole reading it!
